We have an eclipse of Uranus and Venus this weekend and this sets the stage for some very dramatic energy at work. This energy is likely to target couples, especially those who have long relationships, but is also open to relationships in general, especially those who’s contrasting nature is part of what draws them together. The interesting part of this energy is how it highlights the contrast itself- and this can be great for noticing and becoming aware of how things tick, but not as good for people who are determined to have their own way or dictate the outcome without concession. The core of the issue lies in the very contrast itself, without it, there would be no law of attraction to work through. Taking a step back to appreciate that fact that an alternate viewpoint exists is key right now, letting it be free to take it’s own path is the key to getting through this energy unscathed. This can be seen famously in what I will call “old married people syndrome” – this is when an old couple will argue, chastise, and ignore each other all in the same moment without showing any outward signs of truly being disturbed…they’ve come to the point where they are more “going through the motions” while having the knowledge that the other person isn’t going to change, or even accept their point of view- all while maintaining the love and bond that holds them together. In the next instant they can be seen lovingly adoring each other with endearing smiles.

This transit is the show of the weekend and it is designed to get us to get a closer glimpse into what it means to love and covet, the outside influences don’t really matter or change the inner factors…. What we have is ours and ours alone to experience and bask in, so letting others have their merry way is often just the thing to do. Not getting our knickers in a twist with this energy will likely ensure that we come out with a fresh perspective and appreciation of what we hold the closest… let the new doors open.

As if this weren’t enough, we can also expect a boosted inner drive, this energy is best used as a source of introspection and insight into our personal nature. There is an element of shadows being brought to light with this that is working to release personal struggles and elements that we might not have had the courage to look at before. A little quiet time goes a long way, along with doing something just to appreciate how much you love yourself (it all starts here). Send the love in and see what comes around…
