Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary
IT'S FRIDAY...!!! (YAY)...!!!
One of the things I like best about writing the Weekly Horoscopes is in picking "The Song of the Week"... Trying to find the right song that matches the tone, intensity, beat of the chart... So if you could "listen" to the chart, that would be what it would sound like... (or something like that)...
Anyway... with today's chart energy... If I had to pick a song for the day it would surely be B.B. King's "Payin' the Cost to be the Boss"... (viddy below)... I say this because right now the entire chart is being completely dominated by Saturn... Saturn is a very "authoritative planet" that also happens to have a very big heart... Work with me on this...
The vibe is a bit of a warning of "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"... Saturn is the planet that is focused on our personal prosperity... It's not "greedy"... It's focus is to make sure that those it loves and cares for will be taken care of and able to prosper through hard times if they occur.
Saturn often gets a bad reputation by other astrologers... Usually because it places restrictions and/or limitation on the things that we do... But it's energy is very similar to a very wise mother... Not over-protective, but teaches us as children not be reckless and impulsive... To carefully consider our actions before we take them and to consider the consequences they may have.
In today's chart... Saturn is flanked by Pluto & Lilith on either side as it connects to Chiron, Venus, Mercury, Mars and the North Node... It reminds me of a story about a guy I used to work with that was always whining and complaining... About what a "mean rotten bastard" the owner of the company was... (blah, blah, blah)... The owner of the place would merely offer a pained smile and walk away... My dad was up in the higher management, and he would tell me of some of the struggles the owner was having... That he had to mortgage his house to make payroll until he could collect some of the debts he was owed... (blah, blah, blah)...
I'd try to get that through to my friend, but he would only increase the rhetoric and in a bold move, he went in and demanded a raise and the owner told him to pack up his things "that he was done"... The guy was stunned... Sayin' "how the hell am I gonna pay my bills?"... (blah, blah, blah)... And at the time I remember thinkin' to myself that the owner was "Payin' the costs to be the boss"... (I was and still am a HUGE B.B. King fan)...
So we can all take today's chart energy to be a HUGE reminder to appreciate what we have... And that rather than whining or complaining about the way things are, we as individuals can step it up a bit and work to make things better by becoming better and more efficient (saturn things) at the things we do... This also applies to our friends and family too... To consider that they may be struggling in ways we are not aware of and might need a little help/assistance too.
