While at the pub the other night, a couple of guys were having an argument over sports stars from the 80's versus the stars of today. And inevitably LeBron vs. Jordan came up. Regardless of how you feel about basketball, or sports in general, you've almost certainly at least heard of LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

If you look at each of them though, and why they're great, you notice they have this insatiable desire to be great. They run at effort levels that no one else can match. They get tunnel vision towards their goals, and pursue them until they're completed. There's a stubbornness that anything less than success is unacceptable. It doesn't always work out that way, but they win/won far more than they lose. It's a good lesson for life.

That leads us to today's chart, and this has a ton of that sort of mentality. People are going to want things so bad that they won't let anything stand in their way. There can be an almost insane level of focus people fall into, where they can achieve things that others just won't think are possible. When others look in from the outside at a situation, they might actually stop in disbelief for a moment at what they're witnessing. The cool part is this can hit so many areas of life, that what is one person's area of intensity won't be for others. There are a lot of opportunities to shine, and just as many to watch someone else grab the spotlight. The only real caveat is you have to be in the game. So if an opportunity presents itself, jump in and see what you can do - don't stand idly by and let others take advantage while you mumble about missed chances. They're out there for you.
