Daily Horoscope for Capricorn Summary

Today I Start my Life Anew...
It's Mothers Day mornin' when I am writin' this... I miss my Mom a lot... So I'll tell you guys a bit about her...

She grew up in rural Ohio & Kentucky... There were 12 kids in my Mom's family... Her Mom died, and my grandfather re-married and had 12 more... (24 kids)... My Mom was a total 'spaz-matic' for sure... She was 'tiny' in size, but stronger than hell too... She was a Virgo and was great at fixing things and payin' close attention to details... She taught herself to be a tailor (she was sewin' all the time)... That lead to re-upholstering furniture... That lead to refinishing antique furniture... (and on and on)...

The 'Dowd Syndrome'...
I used to help my Mom a lot... Given the chance, she would tell endless stories... If she got goin'... You knew you were gonna be there for a long time... My brothers and sisters called it the "Dowd Syndrome"... She could go on for hours if ya didn't find a way to 'escape'... hehe... I think that is where I get it from... We can see 'wonder' in just about anything, so there is always a story to be told.

My Mom was so funny... That is where my brothers and sisters get our wacky sense of humor... Being able to find humor in just about anything... Our 'dining room' was her 'office'... She'd be in there sewin' and workin'... Always a cuppa-coffee (Maxwell House Instant) and assorted ash-trays... She'd light a cigarette (Viceroy) and set it down and quickly forget about it... So shortly after that, she'd light another... There'd be times when there would she'd have 2 goin' at once... hehe... Just a long un-smoked ash in the ash-tray.

The truth in the room is that we can be 'Failed and Flawed'... Not perfect, but then again nobody is... It reminds us that we can be one that makes the difference in the lives of others... Just by being our own 'mutant-selves'... "Life for Slow-Learners" is what I call it... And regardless of the past or yesterday... Every day we get a brand new chance that maybe we just may 'get it right'.
