This Venus retrograde packs a punch and there is no way to tone down its intensity. It takes place right as Venus forms a conjunction with Pluto, the planet of death, taboo, and transformation. The energy of Pluto can show up as power struggles, manipulation, obsession, jealousy, secrecy, sexual desires, taboo topics and more. This influence is hard to ignore and can dredge up anything and everything we hoped to keep hidden under the rug. It might be a time to consider your deepest desires. Perhaps trying something new with a partner or consider signing up to a dating app.
This energy points to turmoil and repressed anger or energy that has been brewing for some time. Now, during Venus retrograde, these issues or topics will come to light. While this retrograde will be intense, it offers us a powerful opportunity for transformation. The chance to step into our power. Life-changing shifts within our closest partnerships can take place if we choose to surrender and release our need to control. This is no time to bury our feelings, but to confront and acknowledge them. Expect people from your past to show up.
