Why are there retrogrades? So often when we look at the charts, everything appears to be so simple... And I 'Spose that's because it is... It's usually 'us' that tend to make things more complicated than they really need to be... And that is what the core of this chart is really all about... It's all about getting back to the real 'Heart of the Matter'.

However... There are times when things 'go too far'... It's accepting conditions or actions that are wrong... When certain actions or conditions are 'tolerated' because it's just easier to do that than to raise a fuss... Time plays a part in this too, because that can also make it easier to 'take things and people for granted'... When appreciation can somehow become expected and resentments are created.

In our current chart with all the planets retrograde (except Venus and Mars)... The planets are indicating that things have gotten too far out of hand and need to be corrected or really bad things can/will happen... When the 'expectation' that 'somebody else' will have to fix or correct problems or situations... It becomes easier to throw something away than to fix or repair things.

There are also times when the stress of a situations creates the conditions that I would call "Enough is Enough"... Where that classic 'red line in the sand' is drawn... Sorta kinda like when we were kids and tried to push our parents too far when they were havin' a bad day... hehe... Or when people tolerate being taken for granted or when their generosity is also taken for granted... Or when generosity is really a mask for expecting something in return... We all know the drill, because we deal with it on some level every day.

So if we're smart... We may want to step back from time to time to consider and to try to see things from other perspectives... It's there to really consider what is being said and done... Is it just easier to automatically accept the 'answers and reasons' we are offered because it's just easier than to dig and find the real reasons events turn out as they do... Sorta-kinda like... If nobody raises a fuss, then I 'spose that means it's ok to keep doin' something until you go too far or others speak up... But by the time that usually happens things have gone too far and often become un-repairable.

So if you really want to understand this energy... We may have to personally take a step backwards and re-evaluate the Law of Cause and Effect... (because that is what retrogrades are really all about)... Can it be that accepting bad behavior is as bad as actually doing it?... Retrogrades are there to ask us the questions we need to answer so we can eliminate those conditions from repeating themselves.

But when someone steps out of the routine, and becomes more aware of the conditions of others... Who help when they can and have the wisdom to know when to get out of the way too... Those are the ones that are never forgotten... Those are the ones that make the difference in our lives... We don't have to be perfect... Instead of changing the world, sometimes we have to change and elevate ourselves first.
