Finally the weather seems to have turned for the good here in Buffalo and that was evident at my class today. We had a mere seven (out of fourteen) show up, probably skipping to partake in varying spring time activities. I don’t blame them either. It’s nice to have options that range beyond indoor activities.

The weekend will probably provide more of the same and this transit will certainly aid in the hustle and bustle category, especially in terms of things in transition. It might be time for the first car wash of the year, the first round of golf, the first outdoor barbecue. But you have to be a little careful because you can rush some things, likely due to long waits. For instance, I (as a golfer) would love to go golf this weekend, but just because the weather is good for it, the ground isn’t; it’s still a bit swampy and muddy. I could be hard-headed and go, but it’d likely be a terrible round, I’d shoot a bad score and I’d have to throw my shoes and pants out afterwards.

The lesson for this weekend is that just because it feels like the right time to do something doesn’t necessarily mean it is. Make sure all the elements involved are ready for it, not just the predominant ones because it takes a lot of little things to make something fun or a success. With a little bit of patience, you can find something fun to do and not cause yourself some unneeded trouble as a result. Best of luck.
