I'm a rain guy by nature. Most people scramble to avoid the rain, but I seem to embrace it. If you think about it, when else do you have an excuse to be fully clothed and wet at the same time?

Anyways, last week as I'm hoofing it (walking) home from work in the rain, a good 45 minute trek, I know when I stop to see my mom at work, she'll lambaste me about my choice of walking in the rain (in my good work clothes no less) and wonder why I didn't call Pa Dowd to come pick me up. I knew the answer to this in my head of course; that sometimes we take on a little hardship when available alternatives are there for whatever reasons. Maybe we need something to complain about later on, to create a little conversation, or maybe it's just a minor way of showing ourselves we can overcome adversity.

This will tie into the energy for today. Good fortune will be out there for people to be had, but you will see most of them seem to turn it down. They'll want to do things on their terms, for their accomplishments to be known as "their" accomplishments. It's a headstrong position to say the least. There can also be some lapses in wisdom as well, so don't be shocked if you aren't making the best decisions out there. People that aren't afraid to accept success and the kindness of others will rise above this transit; they need not worry a whole lot. But people that always seem to find the hardest way through things can expect some obstacles to overcome, ones that they could've avoided. But that's a choice most of them will willingly make. Issues can develop here as a result of you holding on to items (or cash) for too long and not making the most of their current value. Part of this can derive from you perceiving a usage for things down the road, when in reality, this is theoretical and you aren't likely to dust certain things off for another goal. To give a concrete example, if you need to pay the rent, you could sell off some old DVDs you don't watch anymore to get the loot, only you'd think it through, remember watching said DVDs before and enjoying them, leading to you keeping them (where they will sit on a shelf from now until the end of eternity).
