I am back from vacation, and in many ways I need a vacation from my vacation. I went to Chicago Powerfest, which featured three bands I've always liked, one of them being among my favorites. Still, whenever I go away to see a metal show, there's usually some debauchery that goes on, but this weekend was extremely civil. I usually have a couple crazy stories to tell, but nothing really pushed the bounds of good taste. We didn't even get threatened to get kicked out of the hotel. Maybe me and my buddies are just getting old.

Perhaps it was merely a precursor to today's energy, where people are going to have a good idea of what actions will embarrass them and which ones they can probably get away with. Honor is important and people will want to maintain personal honor and respect at all costs. So as you go about the day, you'll notice people acting in ways to preserve their personal appearance a bit. People are going to be more prone to step up and take the blame because at least then, others can forgive them for their wrongs and people can start over with a blank slate once again.

To end with a sports example, many baseball players have been accused of taking steroids. Some have denied this and others have admitted to it. If you look at the ones who've admitted it, they've all essentially been given forgiveness from the media and are overlooked. The ones who've denied it are the ones being torn up by the media and fan bases. Some times it's better to nip things in the bud before they get out of hand. Keep this in mind if you make a mistake today. Best of luck.
