Turn on the TV News & you're almost sure to hear someone talkin' about Tim Russert (Meet the Press) who recently died... I never met the man, but it sounds like he was a pretty good guy... But then again, that doesn't surprise me too much because he was all about being from "The Land of Buff"... (Buffalo, New York)... Buffalo's economy & politics are totally trashed... but one thing is for sure... We do "family" pretty well here.
Buffalo is definitely a "Taurus" city... It's slow & has a deep appreciation for the best in food & music... It's not the "world class restaurant" type of food either... I added them up once & there were about 47 pizza places within a 2-3 mile radius of my house... Not the factory/chain store kind either... The artery loading pure chloresteral variety... hehhee... Who knows, perhaps that's why all of us seem to have huge freakin' heads... We're like those bug-eye aliens fercrissakes... hehee...
We always talk about changes here, but nothing really does... They keep electing the same people regardless of the fact that they've chased over 1/2 of the population & businesses away... That happens because in reality, people here don't really care about any of that until it personally messes with their lives... With gas over $4.25 you're starting to see a very placid bunch of people get seriously pissed!!!
Why am I talkin' so much about "The Land of Buff" today?... It's because Venus is slidin' into Cancer & opposing Pluto... What we're so used to dealing with, the world is going to start to experience in a major way... Outrageous weather... Financial madness... Better strap yourselves to your chairs, the next few years are going to get pretty intense...(more so than you ever could imagine, I believe)...
Venus is great & awesome when she's positive... But look out when she's pissed off... Hell, the ancients used to sacrifice people to her in hopes she wasn't going to direct her wrath at them... The interesting thing is that the "Venus Anger" tends to be directed at the people you'd least expect... Like in the political world, this energy tends to cause people to "switch sides" because they feel like they've been betrayed by "their own party"... (it's not likely to be much of a party for the next couple years either hehehe)... Whatever... you get the idea.
The best part of this whole thing is that when it's all said & done... Just like the rest of us here in the "Land of Buff"... Changes are comin'... but when the dust settles, we'll all just settle back & focus our attention upon what truly matters most... (our family's & the people in our lives)... Keep the Faith Moondogs... Better Days & Higher Love are comin' soon...
