This Saturday is the Roast of Lubick. When one of our buddies moves away from Buffalo, our whole crew has a big party in the basement of a nearby bar and we attempt to rip and embarrass the hell out of each other through joke telling, recalling embarrassing encounters and generally leaving good taste at the door. Everyone gets pretty vile when they're at the podium, everyone cracks up laughing and a good time is had by all. It's far better than throwing a lame going away party. We want to leave a lasting impression, one that suggests to everyone staying here, "You better not move or you're next to get torn a new one."

It's perfect timing in an astrological sense because people will have a natural tendency to embellish stories and to mislead others regarding the truth. In our situation, everyone knows this is the case going into the Roast. But in your day to day lives, you have to be more careful because you might be expecting others to tell you the truth, when they might be blowing smoke up your rear. Be responsible for verifying things that might seem like tall tales, just so you are going on false pretenses.

Anyways, Saturday will be a ton of fun, but the overwhelming somber mood will linger in the background. Luby has been friends with most of us since he was 5 years old. We'll miss having him around on a regular basis. Don't forget this about the energy, there might be some surface level amusement, but the overall energy is actually pretty challenging to deal with. Do your best and best of luck.

Sometimes with this energy, you can assume you are so well rooted that you can start to question your own benefactors. That's not a good move right now.
