New Year’s Eve was a great time. All 11 of the “brothers” (plus girlfriends) made it out to one place for the first time in a couple years. Me and my buddies are all as tight of friends as they come. Still it’s hard for us all to get together at once these days, since at least one of us always has some other responsibility to take care of.

Anyways, it’s always refreshing to know that no matter what crap you might have to deal with in day to day life, you always have the comfort of friends and family behind you, supporting you and lending the pick me up when you need it most.

Starting this weekend, this feeling of unity, brotherhood and putting others above yourself is going to jump headfirst into the chart. It’s easy to help your family or friends out because you have the connection with them, but with this energy, you’re going to look to help other people out the same way. The energy will be practically begging you to work on building your friendships and associations with others.

I’ll leave you with this nugget of Bud wisdom to start off the New Year: Look to treat everyone you know not like your friend, but like your best friend. If you do this, most of the BS in life disappears. When you are interacting with people, even people you aren't necessarily hitting it off with, just know that if you can get that relationship to the point where you know you will go the extra mile for that person, that person would be foolish not to do the same for you.
