Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

Sometimes the universe throws us curveballs. This weekend, it's more like the Big Sky is dialing up 100 mph fastballs. They'll be really hard to hit, but it will be a lot easier if you know what's coming. That's what I'm here for.

First of all, we've got four major happenings going on there and all will drop their astro-influence on us. The first is Venus going retro, which is going to hurt our personal relationships a bit, mainly in that people are going to be looking out for themselves and they'll often neglect to think about what's going on with others. People might be a little selfish here, with their stuff and with their time. It sounds bad, but in all actuality it will help us out a bit with the Sun-Saturn aspect going on. With this aspect, there are going to be things in our life that just have to get done, even though we won't have a “Mom” figure standing over us to tell us we have to do them. The motivation to do them has to come within, even if it might “seem” as though we can put them off and be fine. But with the Venus energy, we'll put more a focus on these tasks because we'll understand it's better for us. This is of course as long as something distracting doesn't come along, because if something we want to do stands in the way of something we should do, then we'll very likely choose the thing we want to do. So put a huge onus on your personal responsibilities.

As if that wasn't complicated enough, Mars and Neptune get together which can help to form some crazy, intense meetings between people. You might end up meeting someone new that you might view as being a future best friend (or someone you really want to shack up with) after only a couple of minutes. You factor in the other elements, and these encounters can only serve to provide another reason to drag you away from your responsibilities. If there are things to do, you should do them, but definitely seek to find a way to see any of these people you find a connection with later on.

Lastly, Mercury starts its Pisces cycle this weekend, which can further foul all your plans up. This will make it even harder to rationalize your decisions, especially when “your gut” is telling you that it's a good idea to do something. When you break it all down, pretty much everything in the universe is telling you to make bad decisions, do what you want and put things off, even though you know you'll catch hell for it later. That sounds like a hard pitch to hit. But now you know it's coming. Take care of business first and then see how the rest of the weekend plays out. You might have a lot of time afterwards to still indulge in the fun aspects of things. But don't leave yourself in a bad spot (and again trust me, you're asking for a beating if you neglect your responsibilities). Best of luck.

Inside you might be feeling the romantic urge, but this energy is going to be repressing most of the opportunities. It's almost like shopping in a store that's out of stock in every department. This could lead to you settling (if you really need to satiate the urge for close companionship), but if you're smart, you'll actually start to look harder for what it is you want out of a romantic relationship. This might come through some less than stellar experiences, which reaffirms that you should either find someone who knows how to please you romantically, or to upgrade your communication with a current partner so they better know what you're looking for.
