I need a vacation. I haven't left the friendly confines of the Buff in almost a year now and the day to day has been wearing me out. Las Vegas isn't exactly the place to go when you need to relax and unwind, but whatever, time off is time off.

The past month has been pretty tough astrologically (I would go as far as calling some aspects “brutal”). But we've kind of turned the corner and this is like our astrological vacation. Things are going to get a bit easier from here, starting this weekend. Venus goes direct on Friday, so a lot of the financial woes will ease up a little. People will have a renewed sense of value and an increase in personal responsibility along those lines. Relationships should also improve because we'll see a lot less of the “looking out for yourself” type mentality that's been going around. It won't kick in automatically, but things of this nature should improve at a good clip over the next week or two.

We're also experiencing a Mercury-Saturn connection this weekend which should help further in the area of “watchful eyes”. Saturn retro can leave us oblivious at times to when we're digging ourselves in a bigger hole, but the Mercury side of things will allow others to smack us upside the head and say “Dude, come on.” Hopefully this helps me avoid a repeat of the incident during my last Vegas trip where I had to carry my drunken buddy Peterson across the Vegas Strip like he was the cross of Christ. In any event, you'll have more people supporting you over the weekend and helping out where there was no help previously.

So go out and find ways to enjoy yourself this weekend. The weather's getting better and the astrological climate is too. Best of luck.
