We're dealing with an element of illusion this weekend (and on into next week), which can add some complexity to the mix. On the surface, it might seem like a boatload of opportunities are opening up right now. People might notice their fortune's starting to turn around a bit (especially those hit hard by current financial issues). There's a hint that hope is going to be restored and all will be well again.

In truth though, many of the “opportunities” out there are things you wouldn't be interested in taking on as they are far from your ideal situations. People might offer you the promise of wealth, but there isn't any real substance to these claims if you dig deep enough. If you only pay attention to what's happening on the surface, it might seem like there is action and movement, when really, nothing of substance has happened yet. Factor in that Mercury's retro (which can generally make new endeavors short-lived) and it's best not to become deluded here.

On the flip side, if you dig through the layers of excuses and bull that are covering everything up right now, you can find where the truth begins. Making some hard realizations here can shock you into growing and accepting where you are as a person, what you need to change to improve your situations and to lead you closer to the things and people you want in your lives.

In a way, it's kind of like the Matrix. You can eat the juicy steak, try to live in the illusion and let your ignorance block out the parts of the world you'd rather not see. Or you can eat the crappy slop, suck it up and work towards making everything better. Either way, you have the choice of where you want to go this weekend. Best of luck.
