The mind is a powerful thing. Because we can conceptualize so much, we entertain so many things as being possible. Sometimes this works out great. But sometimes this causes us more trouble than we really need to go through. Today is one of those days. First of all, we can have these illusions of “secrets” at times, like that other people are keeping them from us. You'll notice this a lot more in your romantic relationships or any business partnerships you're involved in. Because we are not surgically attached to people at the hip, the easiest train of thought is to assume that others are doing something we wouldn't like whenever they're not around. In truth, this is pretty paranoid, but it's one of the key elements this aspect can introduce.

This energy breaks down in a number of different ways, but they are all basically a form of “fear borne out of want”. Our wants are going to be kicking around the mind today and anytime we go without something we want, it can get us feeling a little antsy. Anything that could separate us from these wants can be viewed as a potential threat (which is where the fear kicks in). As a result, each of us is prone to “defense mechanisms”; where we might lash out at things or people we see as an obstacle in the way of getting what we want.

Why would the universe put you through something like this? Perhaps the answer comes in the form of another question: Why do you want the things you want so bad? Are there viable substitutes that you continually reject? Do such wants have such control over you that they consistently dictate what you do?

Today is a test. Are your wants truly worth pursuing? Some of you can discover that the things you're locked in on aren't worth the effort, or even in the realm of possibility. While these realizations can tend to be harsh, coming to them will save you a lot of time and frustration down the road. On the flipside, some people will discover the things they want so bad are really worth it, but these people can discover that such wants are things they must earn because they have value.
