The Sun moves into Virgo this week. Happy Birthday, Virgos! Now itâÂÂs time for everyone to join in on the energy! Time to be anal-retentive and hyper-critical! Yay! Time to sneak around and dig into everyone elseâÂÂs gossip, but never reveal our own. Yay! Time to adopt tunnel-vision and miss the big picture. Yay!
Virgos, like all the other signs in the zodiac, are a mess. But it doesnâÂÂt mean we turn a blind eye and leave everything in a shambles. We recognize it, work with what we have, and hopefully correct the mistakes as we go, while making a note-to-self to improve upon it in the future.
It doesnâÂÂt help that Mercury, VirgoâÂÂs ruling planet, is retrograde. And to boot, itâÂÂs retrograde in the sign of Virgo. ThatâÂÂs a double-whammy. ItâÂÂs the equivalent of one of those gigantic Hollywood spotlights (you know, the ones they use to debut a movie premiere) shining down on VirgoâÂÂs nether regions--an area that shy Virgo would much rather keep in the dark. For some reason, Virgo is being made an example of. (Virgos hate to be made an example of, especially on their birthday.) The universal is rubbing the proverbial salt in the proverbial wound. Over the next three weeks, Virgo will pose as the guinea pig.
The universe wouldn't put us (specifically Virgo) through all this if there wasn't a lesson to be learned. (Unfortunately, to VirgoâÂÂs chagrin.) Watch carefully and pay close attention to your Virgo brethren. Watch and learn how they cope with this energy over the next three weeks. It might not be a pretty picture. But itâÂÂs worth the $7.00 popcorn and the very realistic 3D glasses that come with the ticket. ItâÂÂs almost as if itâÂÂs happening right in front of you!
What are we supposed to learn from all this? What is the universe trying to say with Mercury Retrograde in Virgo on VirgoâÂÂs birthday? Good question. I canâÂÂt say that I have the answer. However, I do know that I will become a Virgo connoisseur over the next few weeks. I will eat, drink, and study VirgoâÂÂs reactions to the on again off again T-square along with the Mercury Retrograde. I will become a Virgoan scientist. And each week, I will report back my findings, if any at all. Perhaps only a Virgo can answer these questions. Please do chime in, Virgos!
