Over the past few ‘scopes, you’ve probably seen a pattern of “the subconscious” winding its way into the chart. It’s always been there. However, we choose to acknowledge it (or ignore it.) There it is again—the human activity of free will. Nonetheless, we can’t discount the subliminal. Lodged in our brains is a wealth of activity, which we often neglect and disregard. If we were to stop ignoring those innermost intuitive thoughts, gain control of them, and rework them, we would happier beyond our dreams, right? But most of us choose not to. Why is that?

Well, it seems too easy. It seems too “out there.” It’s too new-agey. But it works! It’s been proven time and time again. It’s as simple as writing a happy and pleasing phrase over and over and over again, reprogramming our hearts, minds, and souls, and making it work on our behalf. Our subliminal self is our own personal army ready to fall in line and take orders. But we have to be very clear about what those orders are. We have to make damn sure it’s what we really want. It’s the “genie-in-the-lamp” theory. You need to make what you want clear and known.

What issues do you struggle with? What areas of your life do you want to change? Where do you see yourself in five years, five months, or five days? If you’re the ultimate pessimist, then you already will imagine yourself in virtual hell, slaving and toiling away for something that you probably don’t want or need. However, if you adopt the optimist’s persona, you are living the dream! Can you afford to pass up this offer?

My advice: Learn to be an optimist. Walk around in the optimist’s shoes. Like another muscle, you’ll need to exercise it and practice. Many of us, as children, had no problem imagining our dreams. And as adults, we’ve lost sight of it. This is your time to head back into the childlike dream state that once existed and change course.
