Every once in a while something comes along that makes you stop a second to reconstitute every thing you're doing. Yesterday during my web musings I found a posting from an internet acquaintance about how his daughter went missing back in April and his continued search for her. Her name is Ali Lowitzer and she disappeared on April 26th in the Northern Houston suburb of Spring, TX. She got off the bus from school, was going to pick up her check from work (about ¼ to ½ mile away) and never made it there. I guess law enforcement has looked into her as a runaway, despite not picking up a work check and leaving money and her phone charger at home. There's also been no social network activity from her since (apparently she was an avid texter beforehand and had events planned that suggest she would have no reason to up and leave like that).

You can also google her and find articles detailing the disappearance, the search and such. It's a terrible situation, and unfortunately putting it up here is all I can really do to help out. For any of our Houston area readers, if you've got any info that might possibly help, I'm sure you can reach them through the facebook page or by contacting law enforcement officials.
