Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

Lots going on in today's chart, which can make things a little more confusing than normal. Let's break it down:

Mercury moves into Scorpio for starters. This cycle will have people talking about others' best interests. There's a caring or subservient nature to a lot of the dialogue you'll share with others. The positive front will certainly be out there, and if people drift into some troublesome spots, others will generally try to dig them out of it. But there's also a darker side to the energy. People will internally be looking to protect themselves from trouble (even if the exposure of said trouble could help/exonerate someone else). It's like breaking the cookie jar and blaming it on your little brother so he gets the whooping and you don't. So keep your eyes peeled for "below the surface" developments here, as others might be withholding information to save their own asses.

That will linger for the next few weeks or so. In more immediate terms, we've also got a couple of Mars aspects in play; a good one with Jupiter and a not-so-good one with Neptune. Mars-Jupiter is going to have people working hard for self-fulfilling gains (driven by Jupiter being retrograde). If the carrot is on the end of the stick, you'll chase after it (and hard). This is a good transit for digging people out of ruts of laziness or a lack of inspiration. It can also enhance our emotional responses to the things going on around us, as well as our general desire and pursuit of wealth and abundance.

Still, you should reserve your energy for chasing things directly in front of you, which you can see and where you know that if you do what you need to, you'll achieve the desired reward. The reason for this is the Mars-Neptune transit. This is going to build up bigger aspirations and dreams, but a great deal (if not all) of it will be pure fantasy. It's like building imaginary conditions for your dreams that you can set to achieve. Things like "If I lose ten pounds the coffee girl will like me more," or "If I cut my hair, this job I'm applying for will hire me." That's not to say such conditions won't help you out in your goals, but the nature of this energy is that you will fully "believe" that these conditions are the keys to your success, when in fact, they're just things you've come up with off the top of your head and aren't terribly related to what you're striving for. As I say whenever Neptune's afflicted, Keep it Real. If you think about things in real terms, you won't fall victim to the disillusions that lead others astray. It might not be as fun as living in fantasy land for a little while, but real world land will turn out a lot better as a result. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Gemini

There's a bit of an identity disconnect that goes along with the work you're currently doing. Mentally you can attribute to it some type of cultural or intellectual development, and corresponding elitism that might accompany this, when in reality the actual toils you're undergoing don't really make you any more special than those around you. While "talking the big game" about what you're doing isn't likely to get you anywhere, the actual work itself almost certainly will. Others will notice when you do a good job and there is the potential for current advancement if you're good enough.
