With Venus in retrograde, there can be a tendency to question what we most value, like our partnerships and relationships. The "gimme gimme" aspect is at play where we become selfish and grab at anything that looks opportune, shirking our responsibilities for immediate gratification. This is a tendency to take what we hold most dear to us and take it for granted.

Consider the following thought process:

Should I really be with this person? We've been with each other for seven years, we've raised three healthy, smart, beautiful children together, and have a wonderful safe home. But what am I really gettin' out of it?

Uh, yeah...that's the madness that will be goin' throughout all of our heads today. Be sure to anchor it and really take stock of what we truly see as meaningful to us. Remind yourself that it doesn't have to be glitz, glamour, and fancy meals all the time. The meat and potatoes have been working great up right until now. Ask yourself, "What has changed?"

In order to curb this feeling, we'll need to adopt the Thanksgiving vibe a little bit early this year. Learn to become grateful and thankful for what you already have. And don't piss away years of love, loyalty, hard work and dedication for some floozy or for any shiny object that crosses your path. You KNOW what the real good thing is. You've had a taste of it. Don't be stupid enough to toss it all away because your loins prompt you to. (Or because you want to sow your wild oats.) If you do decide to do the deed, do the work it takes to tie up all loose ends and make sure everything is taken care of before you go off and become "me-centered." Become responsible before you go and do the irresponsible. Get it?

The other very active energy at play today is the Pluto-Sun aspect. It's more of a leadership quality and will allow us to take an introspective look at what attributes we deem valuable within ourselves. It will help us become deeply self-aware (which will help with the "What do you really want to achieve out of life?" exercise I created last week. (I hope you're still doing that 5 min exercise every day.)
