Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

I'm about the biggest Christmas miser there is. Too much materialism. Too many Christmas songs on repeat. Winter, snow, cold. It's just not my season.

Still, I feel as though there has been less "Christmas cheer" flowing around this year as opposed to years previous. I'm not a big fan, but it should still be there. Maybe it's me. Maybe it's the collective pressure of the world, political and economic uncertainties, and individual hardships that have done what they will to suppress the "cheer" that's normally spread on really thick. Who knows?

The nature of the chart for the past week or so (and continuing on up through just around the new year) is change. It's looming. We can all kind of feel it, through the things we want, through the things we fear, through the things we see developing before us. Pluto (which loves change) and the North Node (which dictates how we get from where we are now to where we end up, in a fated sense) have been connected for quite a while. Last week Mars (aggression, desire and will) and Mercury (communication) passed by, setting the table in a sense. But this week the Sun rolls through. The talk we've done in the past about what we want to do, well, now we're going to start doing it.

And if we choose not to? That's where Pluto will start to kick in. Pluto's going to initiate changes in our lives regardless of whether we like what's happening, or if we're ready for it, or if we're completely acting in opposition to the flow of events happening before us. Trust me, the harder you resist what's going on around you (and trying to stick to the old ways), the worse it's going to be. Pluto doesn't care what you want, it just wants something different.

The best way to lower the potential for unfavorable developments is to go with the flow. Be receptive to changes, and this is a great time for initiating them yourself. If you call the shots on where you want to go, you have more control over what the Universe ends up throwing at you.

As we hit another holiday season and the turn of another new year, uncertainties linger all over, but this is a key week in how the future shapes up for all of us. Let go of your reservations and test the waters. Take a leap of faith. Who knows? Maybe the collective cheer will start to return. Best of luck.
