Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

Well this is a crazy chart. Venus and Saturn are currently having some afflictions, while the Sun, Neptune, Mars and Mercury are all in pretty much the same spot. That's a lot of intensity right there.

First Venus and Saturn (retro): This affects our relationships to a great extent. It's not even necessarily that we will do "bad" things to our friends, families, lovers, etc. but it's more in the things we don't do. It's not taking care of the things that say "I care". It's walking out of conversations at inappropriate times that says "I don't care". It's acting without consideration. Make sure to take the extra time to communicate your feelings, even if they're angry or hurt or the like. That will at least show you care. It's when you say nothing that stuff gets rough.

Let's take it to the political platform du jour, our friends in Wisconsin. Republicans propose a bill to weaken (if not crush) the teacher's union, Democrats walk out on the vote. Rather than communicate, dealing with concepts like teachers shouldn't take a huge financial hit (though if every one else in the country is taking one, teachers shouldn't be exempt), while also looking at things like perhaps the teacher's union is so powerful that crappy teachers on suspension get paid to sleep in a lounge all day because they can't be fired. Regardless of perspective, there's some room for improvement in all of this, which lawmakers won't come to because they don't communicate and people form opinions based on headlines rather than on actual understanding of things at work. It's basically saying "I don't care to see your side of things. I want my team to win." Madness.

Speaking of madness, Neptune's having a big party at its house. This is going to super-duper charge the mind. Whether that's a good or bad thing really depends on the situation. We're all going to speaking and acting on the ideas flying through our heads. The creativity is certainly going to be there. The rationale however might not be. Neptune also contributes to our fantasies, so some people are going to be speaking and acting on their perception of things (or worse yet, their fantasies of what they hope to see), rather than what's going on. Keep it real. You want to emphasize the positive aspects of this energy, the creativity and free-flow of thoughts, and suppress the thoughts that you can't feasibly apply to the real world.

In all, you combine it together and you get the simple premise of Get on the same wavelength as the people around you. Even if there's malcontent, if you're on the same page you can deal with it. If you're talking about oranges and they're talking about walruses, not much good is going to come of it. Best of luck.

When you're a kid and your mom wants you to do something (while you're doing something more productive like playing video games, Scrabble, whatever), you say, yeah Mom, as soon as I'm done.
