Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

Today's energy is all about the “Read! Or we're all gonna die!” corollary (for those not in the know, this is what Van Helsing shouts at the stressed out German virgin who's trying to seal up the monsters at the beginning of the movie The Monster Squad. Needless to say, things end poorly). The basic premise is that people are going to make things out to be super-important (maybe they are, maybe they aren't but given the Node position, they probably will be more important than usual). And because of this, they are going to amp up the pressure on those around them, particularly when they need something done.

But the “Read! Or we're all going to die!” corollary isn't about the moment as much as the pressure involved. The truth of the matter is that we all know when something important is on the line. We all have the ability to sense the pressure around us, process how things can go one way or another. The point of the corollary is to not add more pressure when it's not needed. Sometimes people get the point. When you yell at someone to go faster, maybe they're already going as fast as they can and you're just adding emotional frustration to the mix.

So with this in mind, make it a point to try and not make bad situations worse. Don't agitate things, particularly when you're not in ultimate control. If someone's working on something you need, let them go and take care of it, because the more you try to accelerate the process, the more you're only delaying them since they have to stop to listen to you. You should be the guiding hand, not the alarm wailing in the background. The more you meddle and amp up the pressure, the better the odds of you getting sucked into the vortex with Van Helsing and the virgin. Best of luck.

The emotional aspects of the energy can push you to some pretty strong feelings right now. The key is that you can't overreact to things, or else people are going to start to think you're doing it solely for attention (which isn't winning you any popularity contests).
