I have a plaque in my living room that says YOUNG AT HEART, SLIGHTLY OLDER IN OTHER PLACES!

So, I still exercise fairly regularly. Even participated in a 5k walk in the fall with my daughters and grandkids, just for fun. And made it all the way! I have always eaten pretty healthy and still do, although I am not quite so rigorous. I am not a fan of junk food or soda so no will power needed there! Luckily, I am healthy with no chronic diseases that strike so many at my age, so I am not taking medications! But my eyesight started to go, after all these decades of perfect vision. And I found myself asking people to repeat things. So I invested in some OTC hearing aids, which do help, but take some getting used to. And I will be having cataract surgery. Neither is really a big deal but will make those aging parts a little younger! I bought a journal recently titled, On Growing Old Gracefully. That really made me think! I guess I am growing old, but how to do it gracefully? I guess just by acknowledging the ways I have to change to accommodate my changing body. At the same time, maintaining my independence as long as possible, but not being too proud to ask for help when I need it!

Now, we have Chiron conjunct the North Node in Aries. It just happens to fall in my 12th house, so it affects our spiritual side and subconscious. Things we have hidden from ourselves. Like growing old. I like to think of it like growing up. It will not be instant, but a gradual change in how I live my life.

Chiron is called the wounded healer and is related to healing and transformation. The North Node, on the other hand, represents your life path and the potential you have to develop in this lifetime. When Chiron is in conjunction with the North Node in a chart, it highlights healing and growth connected to your life purpose. Look at your sign to see how this transit will affect you.
