Daily Horoscope for Gemini Summary

Mercury is running ahead of the Sun and our minds can run away with themselves with today's chart. The idea is to catch yourself before you start getting into too much conjecture about what's going to happen in the future. The longer-term energy tries to push us towards truth, whereas the current energy asks us to cast that aside and look beyond what's in front of us. It's good when you're trying to create something; it's bad when you're filling in gaps with details that aren't real.

As you go throughout the day, remember the onus is on you to confirm things are accurate whenever it's needed. People tend to get bit in the ass believing things are a certain way, when they were really misconceptions. The energy requires us to be a bit more defensive. It wants to know that we are on stable grounds, and that our situations are founded on real terms, not imaginary ones. If there are cracks, they'll tend to be exposed and we'll have to deal with them. But while this energy might seem annoying or frustrating at times, we should be better off for it down the line. Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Gemini

The current energy is a good reminder to double check any rule or guidebooks you're supposed to be following for the things you're involved in. This is where you might be a little more prone to reputational hits if you're crossing any lines. It might require you slowing down a bit just to double check, but that could be a massive difference in your public perception. This is a good time to boost your rapport with others overall, though you'll have to perform well in a certain area to initially capture their attention.

Daily Tao

High virtue is not virtuous
Therefore it has virtue
Low virtue never loses virtue
Therefore it has no virtue
High virtue takes no contrived action
And acts without agenda
Low virtue takes contrived action
And acts with agenda
High benevolence takes contrived action
And acts without agenda
High righteousness takes contrived action
And acts with agenda
High etiquette takes contrived action
And upon encountering no response
Uses arms to pull others

Therefore, the Tao is lost, and then virtue
Virtue is lost, and then benevolence
Benevolence is lost, and then righteousness
Righteousness is lost, and then etiquette
Those who have etiquette
are a thin shell of loyalty and sincerity
And the beginning of chaos
Those with foreknowledge
Are the flowers of the Tao
And the beginning of ignorance
Therefore the great person:
Abides in substance, and does not dwell on the thin shell
Abides in the real, and does not dwell on the flower
Thus they discard that and take this
