Daily Horoscope for Leo Summary

We’re in the midst of a lull astrologically, without any major aspects going on. We do have Mercury and Saturn retro though, which should shine through a little bit more through next few days before our next big aspect. You know all about Mercury retro since we harp on it a ton. Car issues, technical problems, communication mishaps and so on. These things seem potent at the time, but usually are minor frustrations that say “Hey I need fixing” or “I didn’t need fixing, but you tried to anyways and really broke me this time”.

Saturn retro works a bit differently. The example I usually give is, what happens when you touch the hot stove? You burn your hand and you learn immediately that touching the hot stove is bad. Now imagine you have no pain receptivity (and there are actually people who don’t). You touch the hot stove, only nothing is telling you, “This is bad”. You can leave your hand on long enough that you get some pretty serious burns. There’s no bad experience, but you end up with bad results.

With Saturn retro, the universe isn’t going to step in and check you when you’re doing something that could be harmful in the long run. The onus is on you to be responsible for yourself and your own actions. You might not think you are making any mistakes, but in reality, they can come back and burn you more than the ones you’re aware of (because you can at least learn from those). So pay attention to what you are doing today and onward. You have to be aware of when something isn’t a good idea, because you won’t be getting the warning to do so. Through this you can develop better self awareness and discipline, which will follow through when Saturn goes direct once again. Best of luck.

Always leave yourself extra time to maneuver in case you run into any delays. The way this energy sets up, you’re extremely prone to things taking longer than they should, often because of forces beyond your control. It’s best to prepare for this beforehand. Another element of this energy is that is can strip a good deal of emotion from you. Things will happen and they can just bounce right off of you. This might be good in tough situations, but you won’t be as pumped when something good happens.
