Daily Horoscope for Leo Summary

If you ever listen to really successful people talk, often they don't spend a whole lot of time talking about everything that went right. Luck has a lot to do with getting things right “once”. If you want sustained success, you have to get them right over and over again. But what's the right way to do this? In reality, no one ever really knows until you figure it out. As such, you often hear successful people talk about the trials and tribulations. You hear them talk a lot about resolve, and trying different things in an attempt to see what works. Most people don't get it “right” the first time; it's the continued effort that leads to success.

This brings up a valid point about our level of observance. We register when things go right, but kind of ignore when they don't. For instance, this evening I was at the bar and the waitress looks up at the Quick Draw machine (think keno, for non-New York State residents) and says her numbers would've come in. You make a mental note of that, but seem to forget all of those times when they don't.

This brings us back to the concept of “failure”. When we see someone successful, we only see the success side of their actions, but rarely the failures. At the same time, many people carry around this intense feeling of failure. As though it's written in the annals of history for everyone to see immediately upon meeting us.

So the point of today is if it's rarely notice when you try and fail, why be averse to trying and failing? The more you fail, the more you tend to succeed, simply because it means you're trying, recovering and trying something else. Eventually people that are committed enough figure out something that works. If you haven't found what you're looking for yet, keep trying, because the answer lies within the continued pursuit. Even still, this is an important time for thinking about what you want on an individual level, because you can't ever reach for something higher if you're not sure what that something is.
