Interactions with people can be weird because of this as well. This is when character flaws tend to surface that change the way you see people, or conversely, where you can completely ignore things that are obvious to others. “You know, Laura. Your new boyfriend looks just like the guy who robbed the bank yesterday.” “No, it couldn’t be him.” So try to be a little less accepting of everything, realize that you’re probably only seeing things from an obscured viewpoint, and don’t make any decisions that are too finalized because the scope of things is likely to change again once you’re thinking clearly again. All of this will help you save the thousands of dollars you were going to invest in Pogs “because they will be a collector’s item” or from shacking up with guys who think they look good in ski masks. Some things tend to drag out, and really, you just want to close the door and move onto something else. The problem here is that you can think said doors are closing, but it’s kind of premature. The point is that you don’t want to put yourself between a rock and a hard place; kind of like moving out of your house before you have somewhere new to live.
