Tensions can be elevated, often as a result of things that can build up over time. This is important to realize, because we all have the ability to say things today that can create some major problems for us down the road, especially when it comes to career. This is when people are going to have that impulse to walk around telling people how they really feel, and how they really feel isn't going to be accepted. So you need to be careful, because it only takes one emotional outburst to throw a wrench into everything.

At the same time, it's also important that you keep an open ear on important matters because you might respond to criticism harshly, when it's the problems being presented that are the real enemy. Snapping on someone else leads to situations where ongoing problems don't get dealt with and everything gets lost in the blame-game. This doesn't lead to anything resembling progress. So know when you've done something wrong, and look within for the answers to change, and when someone else is at fault, come to them in a civil manner and don't let the emotional swell diminish the message that needs to be conveyed. It's still rough waters, but you have to be more diplomatic in your approach to everything around you if you're going to navigate them successfully. Best of luck.

You've got a pretty good handle on what you want to do personally. Getting others to go along is where you're going to have your share of trouble. The problem lies in the self-centered way you'll tend to think about things; if something is good for you, you'll assume it's good for everybody (which won't be the case). So you need to put yourself in others' shoes, if only for the perspective you need to be able to better relate to those around them (and ultimately on how to best sell them on your ideas).
