Today has a lot of “foot in mouth” potential. There can be a general cattiness that emerges, usually as a result from building emotions and the developing events around us. People will in general be more ornery. That’s fine – it happens. However, it’s going to tend to be the snide comments and sarcasm that some will fall back on that will cause trouble. People can say things they only mean for certain people to hear, but word can get back to the ones they’re talking about, and then all hell can break loose.

With this in mind, you don’t want to get dragged into the negativity some will be spreading around. Don’t jump into the watercooler gossip session. Don’t accuse others of things without having hardcore evidence. And if you make threats, you better be prepared to back them up, because others will challenge you on them. It can be a crazy, wacky day, but if you stay on the high road, it doesn’t have to be as bumpy as it could be. Best of luck.

A lot of the challenges that can arise today deal with getting over the apprehension about saying certain things to others. You can get locked into certain modes of thought, which have the potential to develop into beliefs if these are the only possibilities you’ll entertain. The truth is there is more out there. Challenge any beliefs you have today and ask “is this really rock solid”? You might need to open up to new possibilities.
