Daily Horoscope for Leo Summary

Last week we had the Neptune-Saturn-Jupiter T-Square, which was a ton of joy. Today it somehow gets worse with Mercury passing through to form a grand cross (which mercifully will only last a couple of days). And the Node is connecting as well.

Grand Crosses are typically the most challenging thing you can have in the chart, but as much as it might be tempting to curl up in the fetal, we've had more than a few the last couple of years - you make it through and you move on.

So what's it all mean? At the base you have Saturn and Jupiter, which can make a mess of career matters. You might see people at work questioning what they're doing, the purpose of it all, the long term prognosis of how things will turn out. The more you try to look forward, the bleaker it starts to be (all of this is really emphasized by the Node here too). So don't try to look too far ahead. Deal with things in present terms. If you're unhappy, ask yourself "Am I unhappy now, or am I perpetually unhappy in this situation?" Lots of people are unhappy now, but things might get better, so you can ride it out. If you're always unhappy in your situation, then maybe you want to look at ways to improve it, or get out of it altogether.

Neptune hangs around and brings the elements of hopes and dreams into the mix. This might affect your actual dreams, where you wake up almost with a hangover of worries and regrets about things that are long passed and you can't do anything about anyways. So don't wallow. Don't think so much about what you want, or what you think you should be doing, or where you would be if you made a different decision 15 years ago. None of that matters; it's only going to drag down your emotional state, so don't indulge in the negativity.

Then there's Mercury. I like to think of those Mondays long ago, after the Bills blew a game they should have won, where I'd come into the old office, and the Chief would say something along the lines of "They suck. John Fina isn't worth a shit." and ramble on for 20 minutes about every glaring flaw in the game plan. Today, we will all harness our inner Chief and complain about things in hindsight, things we'd like to have control over but don't, only with the added potential to irritate those who do. So with that in mind, this isn't the time to start second-guessing bosses, or people doing important work for you, or people you rely on in other means, because you might just inspire them to turn their back on you. This energy is pretty rough, but the most important thing to remember, of anything I say today, is that other people are going through the same types of things you are. You might think things are hard for you, and you alone, but the guy making your sub, who puts tomatoes on it by mistake, might have watched his dog get hit by a bus on the way to work, or maybe his boss is sending him inappropriate text messages or anyone of 50 million other stressful things that go beyond things you can immediately see in front of you.

So think about things in relative terms. Focus on the now. Focus on the possible, and don't get down over things that you can't control, things you can't achieve, or things that were never meant to be. Don't try to be a hero, but do take care of your responsibilities. And be fair to others, and keep the complaining to a minimum. It's a pretty long list of dos and don'ts for one chart, but it is what it is. Keep plodding ahead. Best of luck.

Working with others can be a bit of a chore, especially when you assume they're going to work in a certain manner. Make sure of everything. This doesn't mean you have to be a micromanager on everything, but you do want to get confirmation others are rolling along with the plan as they should be. You might need to cross into some unpopular territory if you're in a leadership position, but ultimately, you have to get the job done, even if it means pressing those under you to do their jobs.
