Our perceptions on things can tend to run away with themselves here, which makes us a lot more prone to anxiety and building things up to be greater than they actually are. Injecting a dose of realism is important to keep our mindsets at a rational level. If you're not sure what others are looking for themselves, ask. It's the best way to find out for sure, and operating on hope alone might not get you any closer to the goal.
