You don't have to go through the day like some kind of heartless bastard, but you should be aware when anger or frustration might cause you to look at things through a jaded lens.

Our relationships might not progress much here either, though the big thing is to maintain open lines of communication with those around you. You don't want to get into this mentality where you think others are out to make your life miserable - any slights here are most likely unintentional. A lot of our interpretations about what others are doing can be driven by what we think they should be doing, but these ideas might not be aligned. You might need to go above and beyond what's normally expected of you to achieve this, though that can work to your benefit through dispelling doubts others might have. When in doubt, you want to have things you can refer to that will back up any claims you might make. Talk can be pretty cheap here, but if you have evidence that can't be questioned, it will help you win a lot of arguments.
