Geeshka... I gotta warn you guys... It's a "grumpy daniel day" here in astro-land... I 'spose it happens to us all from time to time... And because it is happening to me this way, I am positive it is happening because the Big Spirit knows I'll in turn write about it... Because that is what I do.
Work with me on this...
Just like you guys, I am a regular guy trying to have the best possible life I can have and to share that with my friends and family... But there is one exception, I also happen to have this "extended online family" too... So far this year, 23 million of them have stopped by to check out their 'scopes...
My story is simple... I really love doing astrology charts... For whatever reason, the charts just seem to make sense to me... I like to write and share what I see in them too... And I've been doing so for a hell of a long time... Over 20 years in both the newspapers and on-line...
Horoscopes are something that most people like to read, but have little to no real value in our minds... Sorta-kinda like the fortune-cookies you get when you order chinese take-out food... We just expect them to be there to amuse us... We never think about how someone has to make them, and how much work and machinery it takes to produce them, because it probably wouldn't matter if they were not included... (except i did wonder "where the hell is my fortune-cookie" after ordering lunch last week)... hehe...
Anyway... I just want to say this... I give you guys the best that I can offer, but it's Bud, Dawn, Pam and I giving all we can... If you don't like the ads, become a member... And if you don't want to become a member, use an ad blocker... Just like the fortune-cookies, the horoscopes are free but the meal isn't... And the internet services and costs are not cheap... If I could do away with the ads I would... But I'm only one guy... It's not about the money, it's more about complaining about something that is offered freely... Trackin' with me on this?... Most websites with this amount of traffic has a staff... My staff is two lazy dogs that sleep by my feet while I program/write... (they do keep my feet warm in the winter)... I'd give you guys the stars and planets if I could, but also understand, I have my limitations too.
Ok, I'm done complaining now... Just one of those days when I had to say it... I'll talk to you guys tomorrow...
