Happy New Year to everyone.

We kick off the year with a few weeks of Mercury retrograde, so you'll want to be mentally prepared for that. The theme this time around can be "doing things better" than you have previously. Some people will look to completely reinvent some of the things they're doing, but even if you aren't doing a complete overhaul, you'll want to look for things you can improve upon. Intrinsic in all of this is that you'll be doing a lot of things you've done before - repetition is a little bit of a theme here. But remember doing the same activity does not mean you're obligated to do it the same way this time around.

People can set some higher standards for themselves and others as we push forward into the new year too. The chart has a backdrop of possibility, but because of that, people won't want to waste opportunitities for no reason (though burning some on trial and error in order to learn things and improve is okay). It's a higher activity baseline than normal too - people will have more energy and want to get more accomplished, so if you feel the fires burning inside, go out and do something. The chart is mostly positive aspects, so even if you aren't sure what will happen, things can tend to turn out in your favor. Best of luck.

A slower pace to the day can benefit you as you won't be as likely to rush into the situations that others end up in that can cause frustrations and setbacks. At the same time, others can look at you as the rock they need to fall back on when things get tricky for them. While you might have increased stability here, you can't shoulder everyone's burdens at once, so you might have to make some decisions on who needs your help the most and who will have to figure things out on their own (or at least tread water until you're free again).
