Daily Horoscope for Pisces Summary

Once, long ago, my old man told me the tale of "Catalog Shopping"; for me to paraphrase it probably won't do it justice, but he probably hasn't mentioned it himself here in a while so I'll share.

Once, long ago in the beforetime, when Pa Dowd was younger, he was hanging out in a diner by himself reading a chart (back when he only did astrology as a hobby). This guy comes up to him sits down across from him, inquiring about the chart and such. They get to talking and it turns out the guy is pretty successful, like he's CEO of department store or something else big time. The CEO guy says, "Why do you hate me for being successful?" to which Pa Dowd responded that he didn't, but the CEO guy could kind of tell there was some resentment there.

Afterwards, they had this discussion (the minute details of which escape me presently), but they got to the concept of "Catalog Shopping" (as Pa Dowd has so dubbed). The CEO pulls out this magazine and tells my dad to flip through it. "Pick out anything in there you want". So my dad flips through and sees this pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. "These look cool," he says. CEO guy says, "Visualize them. See yourself with them." So my dad does this for a second, then CEO guy takes the magazine back.

"As you go about your days, have the vision of you want ready, but do nothing to acquire it. Work as hard as you can in what ever you do. Be excellent and the spirit will find a way to deliver that thing to you." So Pa Dowd leaves the guy and for the next two weeks, he busts ass at whatever job he was at back then. And somehow (in a manner I don't really remember), he ended up with Ray-Ban sunglasses essentially falling into his lap.

A little crazy, aye? The moral of the story is if you have belief, and you work hard, you do the things you're supposed to do, the Universe will provide for you. It might do so in quirky ways that you hadn't expected, but where's the fun in predictability? Best of luck.

The Daily Horoscope for Pisces

There are things to be done, you just don't want to do them alone. Thus you can go out in search of coworkers or cooperative partners so that you have someone else to bounce ideas off of as you handle your business. Some of the people you enlist here have the potential to be long-term assistants, so pay attention to the jobs they are doing. Some of the things you do this weekend will provide easy opportunities to make existing jobs easier, or increase your overall earning potential. Just make sure you show up for the appointments or take care of whatever menial duties are required beforehand.
