Daily Horoscope for Pisces Summary

The craziness ensues today as we begin another segment of Mercury retrograde ("Oh joy!"), which is going to last up until the 29th. In the holiday spirit, this has the potential to inspire a litany of terrible presents, crappy sweaters, stuff that doesn't fit so well; the Grinch's heart would shrink 4 sizes. "So Bud, how can I avoid doling out mega-cash for stuff that might cause my family to wonder if there's poison in the Christmas Cookies?" You have to think in terms of functionality right now (at least until the 18th, when Mercury backs into Sag). What do they need? What is going to help them do their daily tasks better? These are the types of things you'll have more insight into buying for right now. But slow down and think it out first. Window shopping is bad news with Mercury retro, but researched shopping is better. Anything glitzy and showy that you might buy (hoping to make an impression of some sort) today and this week is probably going to flop when it comes down to it. If you want to get that kind of stuff, wait until the 18th. It's the functional stuff (computers, work chairs, phones) that you'll want to tackle now, and again, make sure you do your research on the stuff to make sure it's quality.

In non-holiday shopping areas, the next few days are mega-potent as Mercury, Mars, Pluto and the Node are all together in the big sky. It's madness, but it's also madness that aims to get things done. Some of you are going to feel compelled to jump ship from what you're currently doing, perhaps with this idea that you can do a lot better somewhere else. While this is very true, and transformations can be highly favored at this time (in addition to the fact that you'll be compelled to use all of your energy to make transitions smoother), you shouldn't do it without some kind of plan in place first. If a better opportunity comes along, strongly consider it, but if you're just hoping for something and not finding it, either look harder or stick with what you have. You don't want to position yourself in a spot with no current available options. Best of luck.

The things going on in the present have a huge impact on the future. It's going to be your job to see how one impacts the other. You can see how things are unfolding now, and others can tell you what it's going to lead to, but you might struggle some to make the connection for how point A turns into point B. It's better for you to look forward and figure out what you want long-term (as this is where you are stronger currently) and then work backwards to the present so that you can see what you have to do in order to make it happen.
