Welcome to 2012. As we head into the new year, we're in the midst of a bit of a lull in the astrological activity. There's decent separation between the planets for the most part, and this is going to lessen the intensity we'll see in our lives a good deal. So try to think about things in terms of a blank slate. You can capture your footing, rededicate yourself to new goals and this can also provide us with a time to recuperate from previous stresses.

For today, we'll still feel some lingering effects from this weekend's Mars-Mercury connection, so there can still be some heightened emotions, and might have a spat or two whenever previous issues haven't been dealt with. But this will diminish over the course of the day, and things should gradually fade back into a more calm state. Be sure to turn your eyes forward to the potential that the new year has in store. The Daily Horoscope for Pisces

This is largely a period of reflection for you and the important thing to keep in mind is that you want to be very real about the things you're remembering. It's easy to try to sugarcoat things to make them more acceptable. But is that really going to help you move further? In many cases this only gives you an avenue to get sucked back into the same things you've been doing over and over again. It might not be easy right now to make lasting changes, but you should at least work on the building blocks that provide you to do so in the future.
