Daily Horoscope for Pisces Summary
In the old days... All of our telescopes and observation equipment was designed and directed at looking out into the universe... To learn and discover what's out there... But with the accelerated growth of science and technology, scientists have been directing some of the observations inward... and that brings about great new information about what's going on right in our own solar system...
That's partly why we keep hearing new stories about new comets & asteroids that come flying by us... They've been doing so for thousands of years, it's just that now we're starting to really see and discover how many there are and how close they often come to us. It's a no brainer... Just a quick glance at a full moon and you can see the craters from the ones that didn't miss... hehe... Direct a telescope at Mars and it's the same thing... Hell, there are enough craters down here on good ol' planet earth too.
Last month on the 23rd, Spanish astronomers discovered the latest near-earth asteroid called "2012 DA14"... In the first three images below, you can see just how close this bad boy came to earth on Feb 11th... To look up in the sky, you wouldn't have seen it or even known it was there... But there is no doubt that it has had a dramatic effect upon the overall weather patterns... The "winds" I wrote about last week and the tornadoes and storms that soon followed... (IâÂÂm pretty good at this stuff huh?)...
Anyway... in the next three images... You can see where this thing is going to be on Dec 21st, 2012... (because for sure there'll be those that want to link this to the end of the Mayan Long Count calendar)... As you can see, it's no where near the earth on that day... (ahhh... the world survives another day)... But in the last image... On Feb 16 of next year, there is a very slim chance (1 in 77,000) that there could be an impact or collision... If that did happen, it could do some serious damage... It's about 26 miles across... Most of it would burn up as it enters the atmosphere, but it could still wipe out an area of a small city if it did hit...
The thing to keep in mind is that with every passing day, we're learning more & more about what is out there in the Big Universe... There's likely to be a lot of these things that can seem "scary" at first, but the more we learn, the more we can do to prevent these events from happening... Mankind working together... It's a great thing when it works huh?... hehe...

In a strange way, it may have been a little comforting in the past when you were being held back and restricted as that freed you from having to make certain and rough choices and decisions due to the lack of real opportunities... But all that has changed... The restrictions have been removed and the only thing that really holds you back right now is yourself. In so many ways, this is a lot like graduation day... Where one cycle ends and another one has already started... This time it's all different though, you get to determine the direction and the pace... You're the to be first!!
