People look a lot at what might happen in the future. It carries real weight for us - anything potentially negative can be a bit frightening. That fear has real consequences too - it molds our actions. It causes us to do things we might not do otherwise. And truth be told, some actions we undertake do have lasting consequences and ramifications. But not all of them will, and sometimes we overstate the supposed impacts of some of the things we decide to do.
Since we're talking about the future. Look forward 5 years from now and project where you think you might be. Put that thought in your mind. Harness it. Believe in it. Let it simmer in for a a little bit...
Ok, now do this. Today is early October 2018. Remember you in 2013. Where did you think you'd be in 2018 back then? Are you in the exact same spot you predicted? Did everything you thought back then come to fruition? How about in 2008? Barack Obama was a senator and Donald Trump was a rich guy who showed up on TV. How about in 2003? The Red Sox hadn't won a title in 85 years and probably were never going to win one.
The point is no matter what you think about the world ahead, you're never going to get all of it right. You're never going to see all of the curveballs, weird developments and life-changing events that happen to come your way. The current energy puts a lot of strain on us because it causes us to look at the future. It causes us to make some choices regarding directions we want to head. It causes us to feel distraught when we shift in a direction we don't want to go into. But it's not the whole story. It's a part of the story. So don't let the minutatiae and the assumptions and the fear overwhelm you. If things are challenging you, challenge them back. Be a force to be reckoned with. But don't let negative feelings consume you and cause reactionary decisions that break you off your given course. Retake control of your situations and be the captain of the ship of life. Best of luck.

You aren't going to tend to pick sides as much as others here, instead seeking to figure out what's actually right or not. Ultimately, your ways of doing things are subject to change here, and you're really not going to waste endless amounts of time moving forward, just because you set something up inefficiently now. While others can drive you to move a bit faster, and your own impulses can do the same, when you exhibit some patience to getting to the bottom of things, understanding them, and implementing a sound plan, you're going to put yourself in the best situation for future success.
