When transiting Mars opposes Pluto, it brings intense energy, power struggles, and a desire for transformation. How this show up for us depends on the houses that Mars and Pluto are transiting. This aspect is often challenging but can lead to significant personal growth and transformation if handled with understanding and a goal. It is essential to confront power dynamics, be they internal or external, in a way that empowers everyone. Because Mars is spending an extremely long time in Cancer, due to retrogrades, this effect will last for several months rather than a few weeks. It starts almost exactly at the time of the US presidential election and lasts long after the inauguration, January 20, 2025.
This transit also coincides with the Pluto return of the USA which is a very big deal. If you look back at Pluto in Capricorn you can see all the huge changes that have happened in this country since 2008. Now we will have 20 years of Pluto in Aquarius.
