Daily Horoscope for Sagittarius Summary
Today's chart is focused on the planet Mercury...
It's sitting on the cusp of the Sign of Sagittarius... Mercury looks after communication & transportation... Sagittarius handles education, the spiritual, foreign matters as well as travel...
When you put that all together we can see that through "it's messenger Mercury" is trying to bring us to greater understanding in the spiritual and foreign areas of our lives... This by itself is a powerful aspect, but wait... There is even more to the story.
What we have goin' on today is that the Sun aligns with Mercury too, adding more attention to those same areas of life I mention above... With the Sun bringing additional "illumination" it's likely that certain "truths" are or will be un-covered that can completely change our perceptions and understanding of the way we interpret what we consider to be facts.
If the Sun/Mercury transit of the cusp of Sagittarius isn't enough for you... The universe is bringing both of those planets into an alignment with Saturn... This shows us that the events taking place can & will have a serious long term effect upon our lives... Saturn's energy tends to be fairly "stern" or "parental" in nature... It thrives on rules, power and control.
The three planets working together in a partnership in astrology is called a "Stellium"... A unified bonding of planets... Where instead of acting as individuals, the planets are "forming a committee" and joining forces in order to bring about more rapid changes.
The way I am seeing this chart energy play out would be very similar to a parent "warning" a child that they are pushing things (or their luck) too far... At some point, the Saturn part of the energy is going to reach a breaking-point where it steps in and says "enough is enough" and steps in to "slow things down" and restore order.
Right now, we cannot tell for certain how this energy will all shake out... Saturn is bent on having order, power, control and authority... Mercury is trying to deliver a spiritual message to cause us to consider other alternatives or to discover what is being hidden or ignored... The Sun works to uncover the truth (Sagittarius) that can ultimately improve each of our live experiences.
Personally, I take this as a time when we'd be foolish to rush to judgment too quickly... This is a chart that shows there is a hell of a lot more goin' on than meets the eye... Ultimately, this stellium is suggesting that we remain sharp, alert and to "question the facts" we are presented with... Sagittarius is both scientific as well as spiritually connected.
Anyway... If you notice yourself or others feeling rather stressed and strained right now this is the reason... It's not the time for "quick fixes" or patches... This energy is there to help us to get to the real "heart of the matter" so the best & smartest answers can be found.
