It can be an emotional time because things will always seem close, but this is also when the biggest hurdles can loom out there. So be mindful of the process. You can rework a lot of the way you handle your day to day right now (often extending to making changes to work environments or anywhere else you spend a ton of time). You won't mind investing too much into this for now, though that will change in short order. So if you're going to splurge, it would probably have to be now; conversely, if you're trying to be more frugal, hold off a little while on it. You'll also tend to nitpick details here, though you have to be somewhat lenient on this end or else nothing will ever get finished - you'll always find something that can be made better. Eventually you'll have to make a decision to roll with things in the state they're in.
