You might run into some people who talk a bigger game than they back up. In these instances, you can take it as a major slight if you want, but the real deal is these things won't tend to be that important and aren't worth your effort. The energy is pretty good in terms of innovation and new ideas, so if you're going to spend a ton of time thinking about anything in detail, better for it to be that than day-to-day gossip and drama.
