While it might be annoying, the big thing you can do for yourself is follow up on things others are supposed to be doing. Don’t leave anything to assumption. Make sure people are doing what they are supposed to, and that you are doing what you are supposed to. It’s going to be important to have back up plans lingering in your mind, and this energy will benefit the people that put in the extra effort in communications and are the most prepared mentally.
