Daily Horoscope for Scorpio Summary
Yeah, it's one of those times when Pa-Dowd is feelin' the blues... There is nothing sadder to me than going to "wakes" or "funerals"... But to go to a wake of a kid that was only 11 years old, is enough to rip out your heart and soul... Especially when it didn't need to happen, because the kid chose to take himself out... 11 freakin' years old... It's not madness, there has to be some kind of evil in this world's Modern Life that would cause a kid to do that.
Turn on the telly-vision and all we get is "fear, fear, fear"... This group against that group... Fear of losing what you have... Fear of not getting what you want... Fear that someone else may get more than you... blah blah blah... I know you guys know what I mean...
And as long as I am going on this rant of rage... What about the goofy football players "making a stand" by kneeling down at the National Anthem?... I am not being all kinds of rah, rah let's go USA here... I am talkin' about we have these guys who are extremely well paid... Earning more in a year than many of us will make in our lifetimes... And they choose to make "symbolic gestures"... Gimme a freakin' break..!!
Instead of being "symbolic", why don't the NFL Players taking a knee take their salaries and build schools in the rougher economic areas that can teach kids how to be excellent at what they do, and give them the solid honor, integrity, business and economics principles needed, so that they can thrive on their own and lift themselves out of poverty?... Or to teach them how to fix and repair things instead of just throwing them away... Hell, most of what I earn ends up being directed back into sharing these horoscopes... I'm not glorifying myself, but if I can do it, why can't they?... That is if they really do want to make a difference?...
I'm sorry about this rant... But it doesn't have to be this way... It seems to me that everybody is waiting for someone else to do or fix things... Perhaps that someone else is YOU and I... If kids are feeling this level of stress and strain, then us "grown-ups" are not doing our jobs... And when "grown-ups" are acting like spoiled entitled kids, that has to be confusing the hell out of the real kids... Just remember, you and I can be the people that can make the difference in the lives of others just by taking the time to make them more important than "Modern Life".
We shouldn't have to have a kids Pokemon cards attached to their funeral prayer cards!!
