Managing these social issues is the real key to making the most of the energy. It's your goal to get everyone on the same page, and if others are unwilling to compromise, find ways to remove them from the equation so you can proceed without restrictions.
Overall, there might be some hard choices and tough decisions that come around today, but you need to put long term benefits above short term pain. Get tough things out of the way early and you should find yourself free to start reaping the benefits of your decisions. Best of luck.
