We're almost through the end of the Mercury Retro cycle, but for the time being, it's stopped right where Neptune is, so we'll be dealing with that aspect of the energy for the next few days. For starters, you might notice some sleep abnormalities, often attributed to an overactive mind when you try to rest. It's important to keep this in mind - it might be better to try and plan for an extra hour or two of sleep here or there so you aren't dragging through the following day.

It's also going to be a time where you can't trust everything you hear, and even when you don't, you can see a lot of the fallacy and lack of logic in things that are being said. If you're critical about things, you can see the flaws in them and quickly move on. But at the same time, you also have to be careful of others who are buying into things they shouldn't be. This is the sort of thing that can cause greater problems for you, when you're stuck in situations because others were too trustworthy or made bad decisions based on erroneous information.

While the "reality" side of the energy can be kind of rough, the fantasy side of the energy is actually pretty good. It's a good time for thinking, for dreaming new dreams, and for coming up with novel ideas no one's ever thought of. It's not the best time to capitalize on these sorts of things, but that time can soon come, and if you get a great idea, write it down so you don't forget and come back to it in a little bit. There might be some opportunity for you later on, but for now, you just want to come up with the ideas and it'll also help if you're formulating plans on how to implement them.

As Mercury Retro draws to an end, be extra diligent with your facts today, remember to double check everything you aren't positive about, and remain careful in the time-planning, communication and short-term travel areas of life.
