Don't Ever Let Nobody Drag Your Spirit Down...
The Song of the Week is the perfect song for the energy we are dealing with right now as the retrograde planets make it easy to second-guess ourselves and/or to give ourselves permission to take the easy way out... But make no mistake about it, this is when we need to be rock solid inside, and hold fast and true to our core beliefs and standards... Even if that means we need to take actions that may be difficult or require a lot of extra strength, patience and time... Those that do will be extremely thankful they were, later on.

This is the kind of energy where we need to remain humble and to be willing to admit where we may have been wrong in the past and to be willing to backup and go back and make corrections or any repairs that may be needed... The vibe is a lot like parents that were out and return to find the kids all doing the things they are/were supposed to do... (that actually happened on rare occasions when we were kids... but not too often)... Hehe... In a way, Saturn and Jupiter both have a parental kind of quality to them.

In today's chart, the emphasis is locked into the framework of "Personal Freedom"...
Freedom to me is found in my own personal choices... I do the things that I do because I choose to, and not because I "have" to... When we make that conscious choice, it removes any of the negativity or resentment we may feel and changes that to hope and optimism... Keepin' the Faith is what it's all about.

I'm a big fan of Eric Bibb's music... He does a version of a song called "Follow the Drinkin' Gourd" that was an old slave song that gave/revealed hidden codes and directions to those seeking freedom through the Underground Railroad... The "drinkin' goard" was the Little Dipper (North Star)... Following the "signs, omens and markers" is what we are being asked to do too with Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto elevated and retrograde... I'll add a "viddy" to the song below... The simplicity, tempo and tone of this song also matches the vibe and smoothness of the chart too.
